Our coffees are roasted weekly and fulfilled after roasting to ensure optimal freshness and flavour. Cut-off for all orders is at 9am on Tuesday mornings. Orders completed after this time will be shipped the following week.

Foge is a washing station which located in eastern Yirgacheffe. Kanketi, a producer family living in Yirgacheffe town, also family's export business, and have six washing stations in Yirgacheffe and Guji. Kanketi Coffee export is managed and run by siblings Tsedenia and Fikadu Abayneh. Tsedenia manages administration and customer relations, Fikadu Kanketi manages the production and quality control at the stations.
The coffee is produced organically and is traditionally with depulping, wet fermentation and sun-dried on raised beds. Foge is located on a hill with cold winds hitting the slope and has sun exposure for whole day. Coffee cherries were delivered mid-day from neighbours and sorted, then pulped and fermented for 36 hours or until ready. Next, coffees were washed and graded, soaked for 6 hours in clean water. The parchment was dried on beds for 13-15 days depending on winds and temperature.
In the cup, you can expect some citrus and berry notes, like mandarin and berry jam, with elegant coffee blossom aroma. Please enjoy!
