Asnake Kasa is an expert in specialty coffee who has worked across a variety of areas including cupping, agronomy and farmer training, and sustainability. He excels in special prep processing and produces some of the best experimentals year on year. 

Cherries are collected manually and hand sorted later. The cultivars are Welisho and Dega. Coffees are washed in channels, and graded in water by density. The lower density (lower quality) will float and are removed, leaving only the denser and therefore higher quality beans which are separated as higher grade lots.

In a cup, expect a classic Ethiopia profile with clean sweetness, a smooth mouthfeel and floral notes. Behind the bright stone fruit character, you can find a lingering finish with black tea flavour.
